Our Story

Sorasun Foundation (SRF) is a Non-governmental, Non-political Youth led organization NGO with its head office in Yola, Adamawa state, with its field offices in Borno, Zamfara and Sokoto States. Since its inception in 2020, the Sorasun Foundation (SRF) has been steadfastly committed to delivering comprehensive humanitarian and developmental services to those in dire need. Initially operating as a self-funded entity, SRF expanded its reach and impact by forming strategic partnerships with both national,International and UN organizations in 2021. These collaborations have enabled the foundation to provide critical assistance to individuals affected by various crises, ensuring that their immediate and long-term needs are met.
SRF’s mission is centered around building resilience among the most vulnerable populations, including women, men, youth, people with special needs, and girls. The foundation recognizes the unique challenges faced by these groups and tailors its programs to address their specific needs. By focusing on empowerment and sustainable development, SRF aims to create lasting positive change in the lives of those it serves.
